Topic: Forge?

There was a discussion a while back (which I read via Google translation) about the possibility of adding forge-like features to TuxFamily.

I am not sure where this ended up, but I think a forge would be a valuable addition to TuxFamily's offerings. (Translation: I personally would find it very useful if TuxFamily had a forge I could use for my project :) ).

If Trac,  FusionForge, LibreSource. etc. are too big, maybe Indefero would work? I've been experimenting with the online demo version and it seems to work well.

Cheers,

well, just try and install' the one you want, it should work (at least the web part, consultation of a repository may only be possible via existing tools if the forge takes for granted that svn or git are on the same server than the web, which is not the case).
The question was more about integrating the forge with the panel [https://panel.tuxfamily.org] which has not yet been submitted as a working patch to VHFFS.

flyspray and mantis already work correctly, trac may work partially (no consultation of svn repository though iirc as it takes for granted svn is on the webserver :/).
You can take down notes of your tries by adding a page, like for example http://faq.tuxfamily.org/WebArea/Compat/Flyspray/En : see http://faq.tuxfamily.org/WebArea/En#Com … plications

Re: Forge?

Trac would work right if the subversion python modules were installed. Would be convenient for Genshi to be installed too.

Done ;)
